
The Mercer County Sheriff’s Department is announcing a second meth delivery arrest in New Windsor this week.
According to a release from the department, deputies conducted a traffic stop and arrested 46-year-old Wayne Tomasson of New Windsor on Saturday. He’s charged with a Class X felony of methamphetamine delivery between 15-100 grams and a Class 1 felony of possession of methamphetamine between 15-100 grams.
Tomasson appeared in Mercer County Circuit Court on Monday, where he was granted pretrial release. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for Nov. 4.
43-year-old Marlena Walsh of New Windsor was taken into custody for methamphetamine delivery on Monday. She’s also facing a Class X felony of methamphetamine delivery between 15-100 grams and a Class 1 felony of possession of methamphetamine between 15-100 grams.
Walsh was also released from custody. Her preliminary hearing is Oct. 20.
