Mercer County (2-0) overcame a slow start to beat United (0-2) handily, 62-38, at the 10 & 32 Tip-Off Classic in Orion on Tuesday.
The Golden Eagles trailed 19-15 midway through the second quarter, before closing the half on an 11-2 run to take a 26-21 halftime lead.
Holden DuMuth scored a game-high 16 points for Mercer County. Brady McPeek, 15, and Spencer Andresen, 13, were also in double figures for the Golden Eagles.
Kellen Boone paced the Red Storm with 11 points.
