Mercer County snapped a four-game losing streak with a 59-51 conference win over Riverdale on the road Friday.
The Golden Eagles (9-7, 3-1 TRAC West) led 28-14 at halftime and extended the advantage to as large as 17 points in the third quarter. Riverdale rallied in the fourth, trimming the deficit to 47-44 with less than three minutes to play, but missed a potential game-tying three.
From that point, Mercer County would regain control and hold on down the stretch to win the game by eight points.
Brady McPeek poured in a game-high 20 points for the Golden Eagles.
Jackson Tegeler led Riverdale (10-6, 2-2 TRAC West) with 19 points.
