The Mercer County Art Collective is bringing art back to the Rhubarb Festival this year.
On the lawn of the Northside Lofts, formerly the Aledo Junior High, participants will paint a 2-foot-by-2-foot square celebrating Rhubarb Fest or downtown Aledo. Acrylic paint will be provided; however, participants are required to bring their own brushes and other necessary supplies.
Myah Balmer is helping organize the event, which will run both Friday and Saturday.
