The New Windsor Fair, Rodeo, and Horse Show is underway with a successful parade Thursday and exciting rodeo action in the mud. The parade was a hit again this year for spectators and those participating. One man even relaxed in a recliner and waved to floats as they passed. WRMJ’s convertible was in the parade and we learned two giant bags of candy was just not enough. Sharon Esslinger of ReMax Country Crossroads in Viola brought a giant balloon from Chicago! Kids scrambled for candy along the parade route, and Sherrard High School Band members entertained the crowd.
Farm Country 102.3 WRMJ will broadcast several reports from the fairgrounds in New Windsor on Friday. Stay up-to-date as you make plans to watch rodeo action at 7 p.m., Friday and Saturday, August 16 and 17.
