A couple of local volunteers earn Illinois 4-H Hall of Fame honors. Mercer County’s Mike Peterson is heavily involved in the Mercer County Youth Livestock Auction which occurs during fair week. This is a conversation he had with WRMJ in 2019, the 26th year of the event.
Also earning Illinois 4-H Hall of Fame honors is Rock Island County’s Julie Derrer, a club leader of the Rockridge Royals for 9 years.
