Hagloch Previews Pick-Up Day October 14th

The City of Aledo will once again be holding a city clean-up day with pick-up of large items put curbside, according to Mayor Chris Hagloch. The City of Aledo will begin to pick up items placed at curbside by 4 a.m. on Monday, October 14. This is for areas north and south of Highway 17. Make sure to have your items at the curb by Monday because once they’ve gone by, they won’t be back. Items that will not be picked up are white goods: stoves, refrigerators, washers, and dryers, and e-cycle goods: TVs, computers, paints, and other chemicals. Also not allowed is yard waste and automobile related items: tires, batteries, oils, and lubricants. Items over 50 pounds will not be collected and only one pick-up load per household is allowed for collection. This service is for Aledo residents only. The Aledo city-wide fall clean-up day is Monday, October 14th.

The Mayor was a recent guest on WRMJ’s Focus program.
