Sherrard extended its winning streak to five games with a 65-57 win over Macomb at Harry Hunt Gymnasium on Tuesday.
The Tigers (12-4) made four three-pointers in the first quarter to jump out to a 22-14 lead at the end of the opening period. Sherrard extended the advantage to 37-27 at halftime and took its largest lead of the night, 55-38, at the end of the third.
The Bombers (11-7) cut the deficit to as little as seven in the game’s final seconds.
Carter Brown poured in a career-high 26 points in the win. Brylan Bender, 14, and Ryder, Veronda, 11, also scored in double figures for the Tigers.
Drew Watson paced Macomb with 17 points in the loss. Carter Havens added 14 for the Bombers.
