Sherrard scored seven runs in the first three innings of the Tigers’ (8-0) 7-1 win over Illini West (4-9) in softball Wednesday.
Sherrard led 7-0 at the end of the third. Nadia Anderson drove in three runs for the Tigers. Jozlyn Kuffler had three hits and two RBI in the win.
Savanah Hauger was the winning pitcher for Sherrard. She allowed two hits and struck out six batters in five scoreless innings.
