A big turnout as the City of Aledo launches the 2020 Downtown Revitalization Program. Downtown consultant Todd Thompson with 353 Court was on hand for last night’s kick off at the Edwards River Public Library.
Aledo Main Street’s Dana Murphy was pleased with the interest.
Among those in attendance was W.J. Albertson, who has purchased several downtown properties in the last year.
Albertson is still unsure of his final plans for the buildings. He now owns the former Aledo Meat Market, Hall’s Shoes, Appleton Law Office and Cooper TV storefronts along with the former Mercer Carnegie Library.
