
ALEDO, IL – The City of Aledo is excited to announce the return of Central Park Grooves, the beloved summer concert series, featuring four nights of live music throughout the summer of 2025. This year’s lineup includes a mix of local favorites and an artist set to be revealed at Rhubarb Fest 2025.

- June 21 – Far Out 283 (Blues-Rock)
- July 19 – The Tailfins (Classic Rock & Roll)
- August 16 – 10 of Soul (Soul, Funk & R&B)
- September 13 – [To Be Announced at Rhubarb Fest 2025]
For the first time, Aledo is partnering with Visit Merco to bring a major music icon to the stage on September 13. The identity of this artist will remain a secret until Rhubarb Fest on June 6 & 7, 2025.
A Summer of Music in Aledo
Since its launch in 2023, Central Park Grooves has grown into a major regional attraction, drawing music lovers from across Mercer County and beyond. Each concert begins at 7 p.m., with performances running until approximately 9 p.m.
Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and blankets to enjoy the music comfortably.
“This event series has become one of our favorites here in Aledo,” said Mayor Chris Hagloch. “Every year, more and more people come out to enjoy these free concerts, and we couldn’t be more excited for this year’s lineup.”
Central Park Grooves Social District Rules
Concertgoers 21 and older can enjoy adult beverages within Central Park from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. during concert nights. Alcohol can be brought into the park on a B.Y.O.B. basis or purchased from Ferg’s, Cheers, or Saucy’s and carried into the park.
For safety and sustainability, plastic or aluminum containers are strongly encouraged. Public alcohol consumption outside of designated areas is prohibited.
