The Central Park Plaza project continues in downtown Aledo.
The Central Park parking lot was closed last Monday and construction crews have leveled the lot. Aledo Mayor Chris Hagloch says the timeline for the project has remained on track.
Construction is scheduled to be completed in November.
The project will add a pedestrian walkway between Second Avenue and Main Street and create a new plaza space in the Central Park parking lot.
