Great participation for the 2024 Miss Mercer County Fair Queen Pageant.
There will be 15 contestants vying to become fair queen next month. Pageant co-director Ledith Whitehall believes that to be a record high.
12 contestants have entered the Junior Miss Pageant, along with 25 Little Miss contestants.
Lillian Russell is the reigning Miss Mercer County Fair Queen. Emalyn Millar was last year’s Junior Miss and Adalyn Hodges was last year’s Little Miss.
The pageant is Tuesday, July 9, in front of the grandstand at the Mercer County Fairgrounds in Aledo. The fair runs July 9-13.
