Growth General Contracting is now accepting bids for the Northside Lofts redevelopment project in Aledo.
The project will transform the former Aledo Junior High School, located at 205 North College Avenue, into an apartment complex with 30 units. The redevelopment involves converting the existing building into 24 apartments and constructing a new wing that will add six more. The project will include studio, one-bedroom, and two-bedroom layouts, all equipped with appliances and in-unit washers and dryers.
Growth General Contracting’s Andrew Fisher says the project will include full mechanical, electrical and plumbing replacements.
The deadline for bids is Nov. 7 at 3 p.m. The building will be open on Oct. 16, Oct. 23, and Oct. 30 for potential contractors to take a look.
Fisher says Growth General Contracting hopes to award bids by Jan. 31, 2026. The targeted opening date is set for July 2027.
