The 2025 Mercer County Fair kicks off with the Mercer County Fair Pageant on Tuesday.
There are 50 total participants in the pageant this year, with 25 entrants in the Little Miss competition, 16 in the Junior Miss competition, and nine vying for fair queen.
Pageant co-director Ledith Whitehall says there’s representation from the whole county.
The pageant starts at 6:30 p.m. and takes place in front of the grandstand at the Mercer County Fairgrounds in Aledo.
