The Mercer County School District is expected to hire its next high school principal at Wednesday’s Board of Education meeting.
Mercer County Schools Superintendent Tim Farquer told WRMJ he “anticipates hiring a high school principal at tonight’s (Wednesday’s) meeting.”
The position became open when current Mercer County High School Principal Andrea Cooper accepted the Sherrard High School assistant principal job last month. Cooper served as Mercer County High School principal for three years.
