With Rockridge High School holding its graduation over the weekend, careers devoted to public education and interscholastic athletics are winding down for a pair of Rockridge School District educators.
High school principal Katy Hasson and elementary PE teacher Tom Hasson are retiring at the end of the school year. Their careers have each spanned 33 years. Tom Hasson also taught and coached in the former Aledo School District.
They both say they’ve enjoyed helping students participate and find passion in a wide variety of activities.
Both are Cambridge High School graduates.
They joined Sportsline last month to discuss their careers. You can hear the complete interview on the WRMJ Sports Podcast feed.
