WRMJ spoke with Dyett boys basketball coach Jamaal Gill after the Eagles defeated Althoff Catholic 52-41 to win the IHSA Class 2A State Championship in Champaign Saturday.
Dyett, a public school in Chicago, closed in 2015-16 because of low enrollment then reopened in the 2016-17 school year.
