Local State Senator Neil Anderson sponsoring a bill that seeks to end property taxes for qualified taxpayers who live in and pay taxes on a residential home for at least 30 years. He says at some point, you have to own your own property.
Anderson’s district office is located in downtown Aledo. Senate Bill 1862 is co-sponsored by State Sen. Dave Syverson.
