Cheryl Lynn Engle, 86 of Aledo, passed away Sunday, February 9, 2025, at Mercer Manor Rehabilitation. Visitation will be 11 a.m. to 12 p.m., Friday, February 14, at the Fippinger Funeral Home in Aledo. Graveside services will be at 12:30 p.m. at the Aledo Cemetery. Cheryl was born on September 13, 1938, in Aledo, the daughter of Joseph and Mamie Fifield Wakeland. She attended the Aledo schools and married W. Dean Engle on June 21, 1958, in Aledo. They were married for 47 years before his passing on March 13, 2006.
Cheryl was employed at the Ben Franklin Store in Aledo for 25 years, the National Bank in Aledo for 8 years, and also the Aledo Walmart.
She enjoyed sewing, gardening, and crafts. Cheryl also enjoyed being on her computer and connecting with her social media friends.
She is survived by many nieces and nephews.
Cheryl was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two sisters, and three brothers.
