Rockridge (13-5, 3-1 TRAC West) held on to defeat Orion (13-4, 2-2 TRAC West) 58-53 on the road Friday.
The Rockets led 18-16 at the end of the first quarter and outscored the Chargers 23-8 in the second to take a 41-24 advantage into the locker room at halftime. Rockridge extended the lead to 48-27 in the third before Orion closed the quarter on a 9-0 run to make it 48-36 heading to the fourth.
Landon Bull and Wade Richhart both scored 15 points for Rockridge. Landon Wheatley added 14 in the win.
Maddux Arnold netted a game-high 17 points for Orion.
Rockridge played without senior guard Caleb Cunico, who missed the game with an ankle injury.
