A New Boston man has been jailed on drug induced homicide and methamphetamine delivery charges. 42-year-old Dale Robert Woodsmall was arrested Wednesday following a suspicious death investigation near Seaton that began last May, according to a Mercer County Sheriff’s Department media release. Woodsmall is in custody at the Mercer County Jail.
Illinois State Police, the Mercer County State’s Attorney’s office, Mercer County Coroner Greg Larson, the Peoria County Coroner’s office, and the Aledo Police Department assisted the Mercer County Sheriff’s Department with the investigation.
