Prelim For Woman Charged In Rural Sherrard Drug Induced Death

A June 17 pre-trial conference set for a Quad City area woman charged in a rural Sherrard drug induced death investigation. Probable cause was found during 52-year-old Susan McFalls’ preliminary hearing Monday in Mercer County Circuit Court.
The Colona woman is charged with 1st Degree Murder and Drug Induced Homicide via accountability stemming from last December’s death of Anthony Qualls of rural Sherrard.
She has been granted pre-trial release.
A co-defendant in the case, 41-year-old William DeWitt of Milan, is facing First Degree Murder and Drug Induced Homicide counts. He remains in the Mercer County Jail and will return to court on June 3.
