Elizabeth Brown, 56 of Seaton, died Thursday, September 14, 2023, at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, Iowa City, after a sudden illness. A celebration of life will be held at 2 p.m., Sunday, September 24, at the First Christian Church, Keithsburg. Memorials may be made to the family to help with funeral expenses. Speer Funeral Home, Aledo, is assisting the family.
Elizabeth Ann was born on June 15, 1967, in Muscatine, Iowa, to Hollis and Roberta (Spence) Luker. She married Willard Brown. He preceded her in death.
Beth was a CNA for many years with the nursing homes and hospital in Aledo. She recently came home to help her mother. In her spare time, she enjoyed fishing, hanging out with friends and family, singing karaoke, and going to car shows. She enjoyed going on Harley rides. Beth was a collector of wolves and Indian art.
Beth is survived by her children: Lindsey Baker and Crystal Thompson, both of Joy, and Curtis and Crystal Moore of Aledo; her mother: Roberta Luker of Seaton; and a brother: Allen Spence of Joy. Also surviving are her grandchildren: Nevaeh, Teara, Isabella, Gavin, and Taylor. She was preceded in death by her father: Hollis Luker; brothers: Mike and Eric; grandmother: Jean Martin; and her husband: Willard Brown.
