A ribbon cutting set for this weekend for the new kayak and canoe launch at Port Louisa in Keithsburg. The project was announced back in July of 2021. Here was Visit Mer MerCo’s Kasi Henshaw at that time.
The ribbon cutting is 2 p.m. Saturday.
The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service will be also holding youth fishing activities. Rods, lures, and bait will be provided.
In addition, the Keithsburg First Christian Church will be serving food.
