The Mercer County School Board has hired a new principal for New Boston Elementary. The position goes to Dr. Teresa Ibouhouten. She has 21 years teaching experience. She most recently served as an instructional coach with the Galesburg School District.
Ibouhouten replaces Marcus Bush in New Boston, who resigned to take the superintendent position in the Rockridge School District.
