West Central (20-4, 12-3 Lincoln Trail Conference) defeated Mercer County (19-5, 13-2 LTC) 10-1 in softball Thursday. Addie Seitz allowed one unearned run in seven innings to earn the victory for the Heat. She went 3-5 from the plate with a solo home run.
