Rockridge’s (9-1) IHSA record-winning streak in softball was snapped Saturday with a 1-0 loss to Ottawa. The Rockets had just three hits in the loss. Ottawa scored in the top of the fourth inning on a solo home run. The loss stopped the Rockets’ winning streak at 73.
Rockridge bounced back later in the day with a 5-1 win over Rock Falls.
