Illinois is awarding more than $22-million in grant funding for 89 projects across the state through the Tourism Attractions and Festivals Grant program and the Mercer County Family YMCA is one of the recipients. Also under the program, Galesburg is receiving $478,000 to construct the National Railroad Hall of Fame. Macomb is receiving $40,000 to purchase and install the World’s Largest Monopoly game on the grounds of the McDonough County Courthouse in Macomb. The creator of Monopoly was from Macomb.
