Mercer County is receiving $1.5 million in American Rescue Plan Act or ARPA funds this year and another $1.5 million next June. The federal stimulus money is considered pandemic relief. The county board this week hired Kasi Henshaw to serve as ARPA Fund Coordinator.
Henshaw will receive $40 an hour. She also staffs the Visit MerCo office and is the county’s privately funded economic development director.
