Two people have died following a head-on collision in Warren County. The accident occurred Saturday night at 8:40 p.m. on Illinois Route 135.
According to an Illinois State Police press release, a vehicle driven by 34-year-old Hannah Porter of Monmouth crossed the center line and struck an oncoming vehicle driven by 46-year-old Angela DeBlock of Viola. Porter died in the crash. DeBlock was airlifted to a regional hospital with serious injuries. A backseat passenger in DeBlock’s vehicle, 78-year-old Ronald Nelson of Viola, died in the crash. And a front seat passenger, 50-year-old John DeBlock, also from Viola, was transported by ambulance to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
