The Sherrard Tigers won their second straight Class 1A boys golf sectional at Petersburg Porta and this year they will get to tee it up at state. The Tigers won the sectional last year but the state tournament ended after sectionals due to the Covid-19 pandemic. The Tigers edged the Rockridge Rockets with the fifth man tie breaker. The United Red Storm came in 9th. On the girls side, Sherrard failed to advance as did any of our local individual golfers.
