Mercer County went on the road for their next to last volleyball match of the season and stopped Abingdon-Avon in straight games Thursday night. The Golden Eagles won 25-23, 25-16. Mercer County will wrap up their season Saturday at Alleman.
In softball, Sherrard bounced back from a season opening loss to beat United Township 7-6.
Rockridge split with Monmouth-Roseville in Prairieland Conference girls basketball. The Titans won the 7th grade game 28-21 while the Rockets won the 7th grade game 32-10.
