The Mercer County COVID test positivity rate is now at 6.1 percent. The number has been on the increase the last two weeks and that’s a concern for Mercer County Health Department administrator Carla Ewing.
The regional test positivity rate is now 4.8 percent after hitting 3.1 percent back on March 17.
In Mercer County, 2,700 residents or 17.11 percent have been fully vaccinated as of this week. COVID vaccination clinics are continuing. You can call the health department at 582-3759 for an appointment.
