The Illinois Department of Agriculture continues to move ahead with plans for holding the Illinois State Fair. Acting Director Jerry Costello says he’s feeling positive that the state fair will be held, but what it will look like remains to be seen.
Tickets are on sale now for the concerts and carnival rides at the state fair, which is scheduled to run Aug. 12-22.
