Illinois Governor J.B. Pritzker says he is not considering another stay-at-home order at this time. As many Illinois regions are placed under increased safety measures, some are wondering if the state will just move back to phase three.
Most regions currently have tier one mitigations, although Region 1, the Rockford and northwest Illinois area, is at tier two with even stricter requirements. The only region without any enhanced mitigations at this time is Region 2, which includes Mercer County along with the Quad Cities, Peoria and Bloomington areas, but those areas may join the rest of the state later this week.
