The Mercer County Health Department (MCHD) on Tuesday announced two additional residents have tested positive for COVID-19, bringing the total number of positive cases since April 2, 2020 to 72 individuals. The latest cases:
* a female in her teens
* a female in her 60s
Of the 72 positive cases that Mercer County has had since testing began, twenty-six cases are isolating at home, one case is hospitalized, and as reported earlier Tuesday, there have been 3 deaths. All other cases have completed their isolation period set forth by IDPH and are no longer being actively monitored by MCHD.
