A former Aledo insurance agent now owns the former Mercer Carnegie Library building. Perryton LLC and manager WJ Albertson submitted the top bid of $16,000 to Mercer Township. Bids were opened Wednesday morning.
Albertson also owns the former Hall’s Shoes, Aledo Meat Market and Appleton Law Office storefronts in downtown Aledo.
