The Sherrard Tigers took on Moline at the Bett Plex in high school softball action Tuesday and fell to the Maroons 9-4. In other softball action Annawan-Wethersfield topped Cuba-Spoon River Valley 7-5.
In baseball, United pounded out a 13-3 win over Peoria Quest Academy, Ridgewood blanked BPC-West Prairie 12-0, Knoxville shut out West Central 12-0, Rowva-Williamsfield out slugged Brimfield-Elmwood 9-6 and Alleman beat Geneseo 8-4.
Mercer County hosted United in track but no results have been reported.
