Mercer County was able to overcome an 18-0 run by the Stark County Rebels to post a 49-39 victory in the opening game of the girls Lincoln Trail Conference Tournament in Aledo. The fourth seeded Golden Eagles lead the fifth seeded Rebels 23-15 at the end of the first quarter but found themselves trailing 25-23 at halftime. Stark County built the lead in the third quarter before Mercer County rallied to lead 36-32 at the end of three. Karli Stineman lead the Eagles with 16 points. Abby Stotler lead the Rebels with 11.
