The Mercer County Board in the process of determining how ARPA funds will be distributed. The federal money is from the American Rescue Plan Act and is for pandemic recovery. Kasi Henshaw is serving as ARPA coordinator for the county and she provided an update to the county board last week.
Henshaw says the county is receiving a total of $2.9 million in ARPA funds. The money must be obligated by 2024 and spent by 2026.
