WRMJ’s local high school sports coverage for the 2022-23 school year concluded on Saturday, June 3rd, with Rockridge’s IHSA 2A softball state championship win over Beecher, 7-1.
This school year, WRMJ produced 128 local sports broadcasts. In addition, the station aired 39 Sportsline programs, every Saturday from 9-10 a.m., from late August to late May. WRMJ’s High School Sports Spotlight featured 75 one-on-one interviews with local students from Mercer County, Rockridge, and Sherrard High Schools this year.
