THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A WINTER STORM WATCH IN EFFECT FROM SUNDAY MORNING THROUGH SUNDAY EVENING.
* WHAT…Heavy snow possible. Total snow accumulations of 4 to 8
inches possible. Winds could gust over 30 mph, causing blowing
and drifting snow and periods of very low visibility.
* WHERE…Portions of northeast Missouri, east central and
southeast Iowa and northwest and west central Illinois.
* WHEN…From Sunday morning through Sunday evening.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…Travel could be very difficult. Heavy, wet
snow, combined with strong winds, could result in downed tree
limbs and power lines.
