Josh Higgins won the Republican nomination for Illinois State House District 94, defeating incumbent Norine Hammond, who has served in the legislature since 2010. No Democrats ran in the primary.
Brad Beekman won the Republican nomination for Illinois State Senate District 36, defeating Patrick Harlan. Beekman will run against incumbent Democrat Mike Halpin in the general election.
Incumbent U.S. Rep. Mary Miller won the Republican nomination for Congress in Illinois District 15, defeating Ryan Tebrugge and Judy Bowlby. She will face Democrat Jennifer Todd, who defeated Paul Davis, Randy Raley and Kyle Nudo in the primary election.
Dillan Vancil won the Republican nomination for Congress in Illinois District 17, defeating Patrick Harlan. Vancil will face incumbent U.S. Rep. Eric Sorensen, who was unopposed in the Democratic primary.
