Sherrard snapped a two-game losing streak with a 62-43 win over Kewanee at Harry Hunt Gymnasium on Tuesday.
Trailing 27-26 in the final seconds of the second quarter, Sherrard freshman Nolan Kline buried a three-pointer as time expired to give the Tigers a 29-27 advantage at halftime. Sherrard (19-6) would go on to outscore the Boilermakers 21-7 in the third quarter to put the game away.
Brylan Bender scored a game-high 25 points for the Tigers, while Kline added 13 points.
Griff Hicks paced Kewanee (13-15) with 17 points in the loss.
