Fire investigators in Mercer County are blaming Friday night’s hog barn fire near Sherrard on an electrical issue. The fire at the Gochee farm killed the hogs that were inside the barn. No people were hurt. Eight fire departments in Mercer County helped fight the fire. Friday’s wind and cold didn’t make that easy.
