Sherrard (15-3) came up short in their match-up with #3 Manual (12-9), 62-42, at the Redbird Roundball Classic in Metamora Saturday.
The Tigers held a three-point lead in the first quarter, 10-7, but trailed at halftime 30-22. Manual led by at least seven points for the entire second half and went on to lead by double digits for the entire fourth quarter.
Dietrich Richardson netted 19 points in the win for the Rams. Josh Humbles added 12 points and Gerrell Trapps scored 10 points for Manual.
Rylan Carton was the only Tiger in double figures with 16 points.
