A rural Aledo man’s sex assault case has been continued to October. 30 year old Eric Maurice Thirtyacre will return to Mercer County Circuit Court on October 10th after a short pre-trial conference on Tuesday. He was arrested in June following an investigation by the Mercer County Sheriff’s Department. Thirtyacre faces Class 1 and Class 2 felonies in connection with an alleged incident involving a victim between the ages of 13 and 17. He remains free on $50,000 bond.
