Rockridge jumped out to a 5-0 lead but could not hold on as Rock Island rallied for a 6-5 win in softball action Tuesday. In other action Cuba-Spoon River Valley blanked Annawan-Wethersfield 10-0. In baseball, Camp Point Central topped United 8-3, Alleman nipped Geneseo 2-1 and Abingdon-Avon rolled over Princeville 16-2.
Mercer County’s baseball game at Fulton was postponed until April 17th and the Eagles softball game at Monmouth-Roseville was cancelled with no make up date at this time. Mercer County’s track meet with United and West Central was also cancelled.
