For the second straight game, the Rockridge Rockets softball team won by the mercy rule as they pounded St. Bede 10-0 in six innings at the Class 2A East Peoria Super Sectional game Monday. The Rockets went deep three times and Grace Preston threw another shutout as they improved to 27-5 on the season. The eighth ranked Rockets will meet third ranked Pinckneyville in the semi-finals Friday at 3 pm. The Panthers blanked Casey-Westfield 3-0 at the Johnston City super-sectional. Williamsville will play Beecher in the other semi-final at 5;30 pm.
